You have a lot off differents groceries and minimarkets (colmados) in the main Las Galeras road.
All at walking distance from our rentals and the biggers are making delivery.

Gift shop

They are various gift-shops in all Las Galeras from the beach to the end of the village.
Always better to buy the artcraft made in Las Galeras like Ezequiel (side of the groceries) who make objects in Guayacan wood..or the original haitians painters who sells their own products.......
One of the best shop is Beba and Franco front of the bank..

Farmacia

There are 2 drugstores in Las Galeras the most important is the closest of the beach in the middle of the village.
In front of Juan y Lolo entrance.
Open from 8 am to 8 pm.
The otherone is in front of the Evanlegic church at 1 km from the beach.....

Cliniques

There are 3 clinics in Las Galeras one big one on the main road, a little one with Indiana in front of the bank, and the Clinic of the state at 2 min driving from Las galeras center

Internet Café

There are two internet cafe in the village, between the supermarkets and the bank, on the main road (right side coming from beach)

Boulangeries

They are 2 bakkeries in Las Galeras one french La Marseillaise in the village center and one Dominican at 2 min. walk from center going to Samana on the left side off the road..

Salon de coiffure

They are various haidresser, for man and woman, and also beauty saloons everywhere in Las Galeras where you can make hairstyle, trenses or nails care...

Artisannat

There are some craftmans in Las Galeras who are principally working the wood (Guayacan) .One is just between the 2 supermarket on the left side off the main road on the way to Samana.
There is an other one at 3 min. driving from center on the right side off the road in the the last turn...
You also have some haitians painters who work in different shops.
Lolo make also artcraft  : original necklaces in coconuts wood or ethnics masks and lamps in calabash.
Manuela with her Galeria de arte Il nodo make and have beautifull objects.on the way after Playita beach...

Bank

There is only one bank in Las Galeras BANRESERVAS (with a ATM open 24 h /24) open from 8 am to 4 pm from monday to friday, the bank is located after all the shops on the right side of the main road, just in front off the road which go to Playita.
You also have another ATM (Banco Popular) in the All Included Hotel Gran Paradise on the beach....

Exchange

To change money in Las Galeras you have two options the firstone is the Western Union office just after the bank but on the other side of the road or the only bank BANRESERVAS..

Car rentals

You have a car rental at the western Union office or ask Juan y Lolo we can find you good cheap rental service.
For exemple this little Tracker jeep at 35 USD / day.
